Wednesday Morning “Not Much News” Round Up

Holiday week . . . so, this post is weak.

GENERAL

NEW DOWNTOWN BED AND BREAKFAST
I’m so glad someone is doing something with this house! I can’t wait to see inside it.

MORE ON THE FIRE
Still no cause determined or people allowed in. So, not really news.

OH CANADA
M&I goes Canadian, pays back US Government first.

LOGISTICARE NIGHTMARE
Badger Cab bails, others step in.

CITY

MCDONALD’S ON EAST WASH
Is it about traffic or bad food. Seems like the bad food comments drown out the legitimate concerns which then ended up being ignored. That sucks. The traffic pattern with the drive thru is awful.

SOGLIN WANTS TO REPEAL “SCARLET LETTER” LAW FOR CHRONIC DRUNKS
I’m guessing its the lawyer in him . . . and the desire not to be sued. Police and others don’t want it repealed, but also haven’t used the law, but they really need the “tool”.

MADISON HAZMAT SERVES . . . .
Cottage Grove?

ALDO LIVES
With modifications.

COUNTY

None.

SCHOOLS AND UW

None

STATE

REPUBLICANS RAISE MORE MONEY
In recall elections. Surprised?

PROSSER ASKED TO STEP ASIDE
Women’s groups and local elected officials ask Prosser to step aside while under investigation.

WSJ WANTS ITS RTA
Wants state to give it to us.

NOT IN THE NEWS
