Here we go again . . . I’m spending more time on the County side of things (Human Service Budget Hearings tonight and tomorrow night – Alliant Energy Center 6:00), at the Tenants Rights’ Rally tomorrow night (5:00 State St steps) and the Poverty Coalition meeting on Thursday (6:00 Edgewood College).

– Convene Public Hearing on Territory in the Village of DeForest and the Village of Waunakee
(about what?? seems a little vague)
– Annexation Request to Add Lands in the Village of DeForest and the Village of Waunakee to the Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District (must be this or the next item

Fire Fighters and Police have higher deductible on the their health insurance
– Freakfest items, including amending the budget for $35,000 in expenses. (Can you imagine what good this $35,000 would do if given to a non-profits serving low-income people instead? It’s more than half of what Tenant Resource Center gets from the city for an entire year!)
– Surprise, surprise, the New Market Tax Credits for the library didn’t work out and now we have to lend them and additional $4M. Who didn’t see that coming?

Not a very staff friendly thing to do!)
