Voting will be tricky for many this spring, here’s the early voting rules.
The Spring Primary Election (including the Supreme Court Primary) is February 16. If anyone is unable to vote on February 16, they can vote by absentee ballot.
The Madison City Clerkâs Office is open for in-person absentee voting (sometimes called early voting) all hours permitted by state law: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays, February 1 through February 12. Photo ID is required to vote.
If you are not registered to vote you can still do that at the clerk’s office during these hours. You will need to bring proof of address to register.Voters can also register at the polls on election day, but must bring both proof of address and an acceptable photo ID.
