August Begins Week Ahead

I know its August but . . . this weekly schedule looks like maybe some more things might show up later this week. There’s a very busy Wednesday, likely illegal meeting, broken links, missing information and public hearings at locations unknown – in short, a bigger disaster than usual. (For fun, go to the weekly schedule and click on the link to the Central Park meeting on Wednesday morning. If you get the agenda, it’s been fixed, but this is what I was getting this morning.)

Monday, August 3, 2009
Looks like there is an illegal meeting this morning, the agenda in legistar is likely not legally posted or it would show up on the weekly agenda.

Not much on the agenda . . . so who knows what they will spend their time on. This short agenda combined with the lack of a second August meeting, means the first meeting in September is sure to be jam packed.
Grid Iron/Monroe St Hotel liquor license (Kerr is absent, expect it to be referred)
– Tiny portions stimulus money (CDBG-R and HPRP money) gets attention while larger pieces do not.
Discussion of this year’s budget process?
Repealing car door/bike ordinance.
Neighborhood Conservation District Study for Wilson/Schley Pass
Minimizing driving resolution
City Resolution urging State to keep PEG funding for public access television.

(Sorry, this is one of those committees that doesn’t believe in linking the information for the public.)

MAYOR’S BUDGET HEARING – LOCATION UNKNOWN
This is all the info available . . . as of Monday morning, still listed as TBA. Keep your eyes open for a press release. I know the Mayor thinks you can read about it here if nothing else, but I can’t post information that isn’t available.
