Tuesday, 9/4/2018
6:00 PM Public Hearing-District Vacancy East District Campus Highway Garage, 3103 Luds Lane, Cottage Grove, WI (may also show as in McFarland)(main entrance on north side of building)
– Dane County Board of Supervisors Chair Sharon Corrigan will conduct a public hearing regarding the vacancy in the District 36 seat on the Dane County Board of Supervisors. The vacancy willl be filled with an appointment by the County Board Chair, subject to confirmation by the County Board.
– Persons have until 4:30pm on Friday, August 31st to submit nomination papers to the Dane County Clerk for appointments to the vacancy. Those who submit nomination papers and a declaration of candidacy will present their qualifications to the County Board Chair. Other interested parties can provide testimony or register a position on teh vacancy at the hearing.
– Note: A quorum of the County Board or one or more of its committees may be present at the hearing, but no official business will be conducted.
