This is the presentation from Finance Department on the police budget to the Public Safety Review Committee subcommittee on budget.I tried to livestream it and failed . . . 1, 2, 3, 4 times! As a result, I put together the presentation with the shitty audio I have (be prepared to hear the birds, my neighbors, my voice very loud when all others are soft, my phone receiving texts, every noise made in my house, me shutting the window on my loud neighbors . . . etc. etc. etc. etc. Huge audio fail!) Anyways, I thought the information was still important, so . . . hopefully you can get something out of this . . . sure would be nice if the city would just let us record the Zoom meetings!!!!!!!!! Sorry I don’t have time for more today – but if you are really interested, here is what we learned yesterday.
Next steps are the following:
1. A presentation police staffing (likely July 2)
2. A presentation following up with additional information from Finance as well as a presentation on the police department budget requests (after July 10th)
