- Authorizing the City of Madison on behalf of the Greater Madison MPO to accept a federal funding grant for $106,100 from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation to implement the MPO’s RoundTrip TDM program and authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into the grant contract and State/Municipal Agreement.
- Amending the 2024 Adopted Mayor’s Office Sustainability Improvements Project Capital Budget to accept a $20,232,335 grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) if awarded; authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the associated grant agreement with the U.S. EPA if awarded; authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to contract with sub-recipients Sustain Dane, Project Home, Urban Triage, and Operation Fresh Start if awarded, to implement the Climate Resilience Starts at Home: Growing Energy Efficiency, Indoor Air Quality, and Green Jobs in Madison, Wisconsin project.

- Year End Appropriation Resolution to amend the 2024 Adopted Operating Budget to increase General Fund appropriations by a total of $8.0 million by appropriating a net amount of $1.5 million from the General Fund Unassigned Balance to meet projected shortfalls in agency budgets and increasing the general fund transfer out to the capital projects fund by $6.5 million related to American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) reallocations; transferring $7.3 million of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds from the grant fund to the general fund; reducing general fund balance applied by $849,364, related to ARPA reallocations; making transfers of appropriations within agency budgets; making revenue adjustments to non-general fund agencies based on third quarter projections; clarifying for federal transit financial reporting purposes that a portion of the Metro Transit subsidy from the General Fund is used to pay debt service in the Metro Transit enterprise fund; and amend the 2024 Adopted Capital Budget to appropriate funding from non-borrowing sources to various capital projects; and transferring funds across capital projects to comply with federal arbitrage rules.
- Authorizing a five-year, non-competitive service contract between the University of Wisconsin Medical Foundation, Inc. and the City of Madison for the provision of Madison Fire Department Medical Director services.
- Authorizing the extension of the current firefighter personal protective equipment (PPE) purchase agreement between the Madison Fire Department and Jefferson Fire & Safety, Inc. until a new contract is awarded in 2026 following testing and a request for bid (RFB) process.
- Authorizing the double fill of firefighter positions (Local 311) in the City of Madison Fire Department in order to run a recruit academy and maintain full staffing following anticipated retirements in 2025.
- Approving the award of loans totaling up to $250,000 from the Community Development Division’s Child Care Facilities Loan Program to three child care providers (Little Genius Bilingual Learning Center, The Playing Field, and Safari Bilingual Learning Center) for use in establishing or expanding child care space and authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into agreements with those agencies to complete the specified development projects. - Authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a contract amendment between the City of Madison and the Tenant Resource Center (TRC), utilizing up to $140,000 in remaining federal Emergency Rental Assistance funds, to sustain efforts to promote housing stability for eligible households in Dane County through TRC’s Eviction Diversion and Defense Partnership.
