Mayor Cieslewicz and the Common Council
AFSCME Local 60, and AFSCME Council 40, cannot, and will not support any agreement which privatizes the operations and management of the Overture Center, a current quasi-public entity serving the public good. Proposed privatization of any City Division, whether we’re talking about Overture, Parking, Water, or any other service currently provided by the City, and staffed by Local 60 members, will be aggressively opposed by AFSCME Local 60, and AFSCME Council 40.
Sincerely,
AFSCME Local 60-Council 40
Don Coyier, President
John Neis, 1st Vice President
Joe Seifert, Treasurer
Kathleen Rideout, Secretary
