I might just have to do a write-up of whatever happens with item 57, which I might note is not even in Thuy’s district. My wife used to work at the school along that route and I have to think that the buffered bike lanes will be a huge asset in providing safe routes to school for the kids there.
My wife also told me that speeding was rampant in that area, and that several teachers and parents at the school received citations. Narrowing up those lanes could make a big difference in dealing with that problem, and free up the police to focus on “more important” issues in D20.
