City Week Ahead: Two Days

Meetings Scheduled for Monday and Tuesday only . . . there will be Overture meetings by MAD and 201 State on Tuesday as well, at least that is what they announced last week, they just don’t have their agendas in yet. Cuz, you know, they love to keep the public informed.

Monday, November 22, 2010
4:30 PM BOARD OF ESTIMATES ROOM 260 MMB
Buying the Don Miller lot and a piece to adjacent property, the Shappe property. I think it only scores 11 our of 20 points and doesn’t really meet the priority criteria, but I don’t think that will stop them from buying it. They made up their own reasons. This isn’t just the 4.5 acres on the North side of East Washington Ave, but additional lands that make up 8 acres including 1.75 acres on the South side of the avenue.
Overture staffing study.
Ad hoc final report.
Mark Clear’s “Plan B” proposal that has all the same problems as “Plan A” except the city doesn’t own the building, we just give them more money every year. ($.6M? for a total of $2M instead of $1.4M)
