Deadline for Alders to Declare they are not running is past, 6 alders out. A new candidate in District One (Sanborn) and Sixteen (Compton) a run down of who has filed at least some papers. And where there are rumors of additional candidates running.
Matt Brink throws his name in for District One. Ryan McKee in District Sixteen. Here’s who’s running and how much paperwork they have in. CANDIDATE = all paperwork in (Campaign Registration Statement, Declaration of Candidacy, State of Interests and Nomination Papers). Deadline is January 4th. If any other incumbents drop out at this point, it extends the deadline. No word from Skidmore, Palm and Solomon. Currently, if rumors are correct and people get in all their paperwork, we’ll have 10 races out of 20 and 2 primaries (Sanborn and Kerr vacancies) . . . but there is plenty of time left for all that to change!
