It’s hard to focus on anything local or tomorrow’s elections with the latest Walker assault on our Wisconsin way of life. But, here it is.

– Reports, acceptance of projects
– Sewer extension plans – Fox Bluff Lane – Town of Westport and City of Madison (Gordon Commons-717 West Johnson Street, 4002 Nakoosa Trail (Porchlight), 5555 High Crossing Boulevard and Mendota Street)
– They are possibly going into closed session, I’m guessing for this, but have no idea what it means. (Other Reports by Staff of Operational, Construction, Regulatory, Legal, or General Matters of Which the Commission Should be Advised.)

4:30 PM BOARD OF ESTIMATES ROOM 351 CCB
Requests for Proposals for 640, 646 and 704 (Collins House) East Gorham Street located in James Madison Park. Will they be moved or stay in place?
Library hiring consultant for strategic planning.
Over $200K more for planning for E Washington Ave. Do we really need more planning, or more doing? Makes me sick to see us wasting all this money and not seeing much for it and I’m unclear if some of these things are the responsibility of private businesses. Very little public process, mostly done behind the scenes.
Planning for Marcus Hotel and ULI private development on our Municipal building site and a privately run “public market” in the Government East parking ramp.
Public policy for undergrounding overhead electric wires. This is one of two chances to discuss this policy, so you might want to pay attention to this one.
Ooops, MG&E had a right of first refusal on some of the E Washington properties we wanted to buy.
