What the People of Wisconsin Want to Cut

I have brought up this poll before, but it is worth repeating as we brace for the Governor’s Budget speech Tuesday at 4pm.

A November 9, 2010 poll conducted by the conservative Wisconsin Policy Research Institute lists what Wisconsin voters least want to protect from spending cuts.  Here are the spending categories, and the percentage of voters who felt that item should receive the least protection from cuts:

Transportation: 31%

Aid To Local Government: 25.3%

Medicaid to low income households: 14.5%

Higher Education: 13.5%

K-12 public education: 7.0%

Don’t know/ Refused: 8.7%

So if Scott Walker is listening to the people of Wisconsin, he will propose cuts to transportation, and protect schools from cuts.

  1. Well, well, little Matty. Almost a month and no one is repying to your drivel. Those who make measureable and quantifiable contributions to society would labe this lack of result as laughably IRRELEVENT.

Maybe you could do like your hero ‘Tingles’ Matthews and have a couple of ringers call/email in. That might prop up your flagging self-esteem.
If not, get out on that bike and air out.
