Blew their new timeline in less than 48 hours. Special Board of Estimates meeting on the 15th and special Council meeting on the 23rd aren’t going to happen. I’m guessing they couldn’t get the right amount of votes in the room.

Just look at any media source, they were all there. Nothing controversial, they agree to go to referendum before taxing. Not a surprise, despite the paranoia. My recap here.
DOWNTOWN ALCOHOL PLAN
Well, it’s not yet repealed, but I bet the committee wishes it had the authority that the Daily Cardinal seems to want to give it. The Herald gets it a little closer, but the next step is not the council. The ALRC has to vote. And again no surprises that this subcommittee would recommend to repeal it.
MUFN GRANT FOR INTERNET ACCESS
I’m so confused, is it $9M, $6M or $5.1M? My guess is there are some details here that might help sort out the answer.

Really, the Deputies just have no shame do they? When I first read the deputies statement I thought there was criminal activity, turns out, its an alcohol problem. Really, was that necessary? Hulsey’s letter in response is here.

It’s clear that Clear and Bruer have not been doing the job they should. In fact, they have been doing damage. I did vote against Cnare early on in her bid for leadership, I think anyone should have two terms under their belt before they take on the role, so they don’t get steamrolled. Now, I think she is ready and would do a great job! GO LAUREN!
