I would like to announce today that I am ending my Madison mayoral campaign.
At the time of filing my Declaration of Candidacy, I thought there was a good chance of getting through the primary to challenge Mayor Cieslewicz in the general election. When Paul Soglin announced his candidacy, it was immediately obvious that the race would be dominated by Cieslewicz and Soglin. Without any previous political experience, I do not have the resources at this point to be competitive in the primary.
I have met some great Madisonians in the past month and thank those that have offered their encouragement. I continue to call for honesty, integrity, and transparency in our city government.
