I went through the plan to see what Governor Evers saying he'd fully fund the recommendation of the Interagency Council on Homelessness really means. Here's what I found. This is no longer a report, its an actual action plan!

"We feel that at the very least, the Dane County Board of Supervisors should postpone making a final decision on funding to the Jail until this study is complete."

It was a "hot mess" as the kids say! So many issues with AB561/SB466 were raised during testimony yesterday, that they have to redraft the bill or make multiple amendments to clarify and fix unintended consequences.

One of our stalwarts here in Dane County gets a Statewide Fair Housing Award. Well deserved! And more! Our new County Board Supervisor...

Last night, Alder Anite Weier and County Board Supervisor Melissa Sargent held an alleged listening session. Before the meeting I heard that they were preparing to make the Occupiers move, and half way through the meeting Chaous walks in with a laminated 4 page letter that was hung on a stake in the ground in the dark telling people to be out by noon today - not even 24 hours notice. After an hour and a half of the meeting, they dropped the bomb and then didn't answer any questions. Short story: we won't be moving. And we have no idea what they are going to do.

Seriously! When overly exuberant kids on campus do this crap its one thing you might overlook, when people who have been around politics for...

As expected, here are more city meetings. I think I caught them all, here are the details on 8 more city meetings and 2 more county meetings.

Let the games begin! The dominos are falling. I sure hope that this all works out . . .

This reeks of someone trying to score political points and ignores the real issues they should be addressing.
