Immigration as a Moral Issue (Day One 9/18)
Leila Pine and the James Reeb Unitarian Universalist Church have embarked on a class to explore the issues. They asked me to video tape it and I felt the issue was important enough to do so. So, here's day one (September 18th). Later this week day two, and hopefully day three!

Even if you don't care about the 50+ tenant landlord law changes in AB183 (22 tenants rights at the state level and 25 or more at the local level), you should care about the sham that the Assembly Republicans, Realtors Association and Madison Area Apartment Association are making out of our democracy. Very short county board meeting, but three new supervisors being sworn in. Alliant Energy Redevelopment committee meets to regroup on its funding, and Executive Committee will be discussing the size of the county board.

Second Denial of County Board Open Records Request
Who decided what is in the final Dane County budget package that is presented and passed WITHOUT DISCUSSION? I'm going to find out, one way or the other. Looks like I'm gonna need lawyers, guns and money. (ok, no guns.)
