Here's an update from the City Attorney on some of the court cases going on about all the events at the capitol in February and March.

Here is the letter of concern they wrote to Madison and Dane County Public Health Director Janel Heinrich.

There's just no other way to put it . . . see what fresh new hell the Republican landlords have in store . . . 2 hearings and one vote on Wednesday, even tho it just got a bill number and became public late Monday.

Last week the press started telling us the details of the 4 jail options. Thursday the County Board met in as a "Committee of the Whole" an hour before the County Board meeting to hear a presentation from Mead and Hunt (this blog post is primarily that meeting). Tonight, two county board committees are deciding which alternatives they want. Slam bam thank you mam and public input and racial equity analysis be damned.

Well, here's the list . . . look what has been flagged as ineligible.

So, this is it, the bills destroying tenants rights, and tipping the scales in favor of unscrupulous landlords is headed for passage.

County board meetings this week . . .

Here is the update from the Wisconsin Coalition Against Homelessness.  This is an initiative both the city and county have given a couple thousands of dollars a year to.
