Yeah, I wasn't allowed to go, because I'm a blogger. A few folks who have similar community media roles, but also are heavily involved in the community were asked to leave. Leaves me a little suspicious . . . and curious. I'm not buying it that you can't have this type of conversation with media present.

Full week with full agendas, opioid overdose alert, lakes/flooding updates and complaints from staff of color in two departments caught my attention.

All the prices are going up, not just the one-ride price. Monthly bus passes would be up to $64. And the low-income price, essentially unaffordable.

Ok, I've probably just been to too many of these events to be anything but critical . . . but this isn't really what I expected to hear in the first 3 minute opening statements of the County Executive Candidates. They seemed odd to me. What do you think?

I don't know how I missed this, but there is so much going on . . . but this is horrendous . . .

Didn't really know what to expect, but it was more of the same. And the format was odd, they should have told the public what the format was in advance. Tho, I suspected that was the way it was going to be.

Just a few meetings this week.  Public hearing on redistricting on Thursday at 7:00.

Good news, all properties covered, not just federally financed properties.  Bad news, you have to take action to be protected and there are some limits.
