This spring, the State Journal asked Dane County Board candidates if we should spend money on land acquisitions through the Dane County Conservation Fund. As we approach Budget Season, it’s worth noting the answer to that question isn’t “Yes”, it’s “Hell Yes.” Here’s why.

RTA meets this week . . . and County Board.

Long meeting, most of it monkey testimony. But the most interesting issue was the one that you couldn't tell what it was on the agenda. How does the County Board get the word out about what it is doing? A relatively short recap of the meeting.

Information deficit, makes it hard to know what might be of interest, here's my two cents.

A full week of round up, computers are all fixed, I have access to all my notes and pictures again. All is good....

Not. Who didn't see this coming. After further consultation with the public, yeah, sure. Which Monona Terrace Station do you want is not much of a choice.

The Inclusionary Zoning law went away about a year and a half ago, a committee was formed, they were told to solve the problem without money and they have talked and talked and talked and talked and nothing has happened, cuz, how can it, without money? Now more than ever, we need a concerted grass roots effort to make sure our local government is doing more to expand housing opportunities for everyone in our community.
