Monday Morning Round Up.
Hopefully, I'll be back on track with the daily round ups now.
DAVID DRYER'S CONTRACT
They tried to push this through at the last minute at...
County Week Ahead.
Sorry, I've been kind of delinquent on the county end of things, my social life was in overdrive.
Join the People’s Affordable Housing Vision!
I lied, I am posting! Here's a quick re-post on an important issue! Come to the meeting on Tuesday, join the facebook page, sign the petition and get involved in real life! Lets get the affordable housing and related services we need in Dane County for the homeless and lets create a truly diversified city and county that supports our families, our schools depend on it!
Those High Speed Rail Station Meetings
Didn't really know what to expect, but it was more of the same. And the format was odd, they should have told the public what the format was in advance. Tho, I suspected that was the way it was going to be.
Long Overdue Round Up (Part One)
I bet you were wondering if I gave up on the Round Up . . . I haven't, just got distracted. I'll be better, I promise.
County Board Recap
I didn't do the week ahead, but I did make sure to cover them, on time! Medical marijuana referendum and war costs audit introduced. Lots of announcements including tractor pulls, turning down a road project and discussion of an economic development project (the one with the plastic Disney posters.)
Feelin’ Better Round Up
I still feel a little crappy, but much, much better than Monday, and even better than yesterday, so I call that progress. Here's a quick round up of things that I found over the last few days.
Thuy Pham-Remmele to Sheriff Mahoney
What in the world is this about? And why were others cc'd on this?
Thursday Morning Round Up
Here's what I found of interest from that last 24 hours or so.
Back to Summer Round Up
Sunny and 80 degrees today, a little different than yesterday. Today is Friday for me, I'm off to Sturgeon Bay for the Steel Bridge Music Festival tomorrow morning. Bringing my computer (and work) with me and intend to be on-line to keep blogging, but the schedule might be a little off. I'll be mostly hanging out at the Ladder House if you make it up that way.
Concession in City/County Tax Collection Dispute
It seems like they might have a proposal to solve one tiny portion of the dispute, but we still don't know what tiny percentage of people will take advantage of this, there's still the foreclosure/delinquency issue that is not resolved and the question of if all the costs for new software, reprogramming and other staff headaches are going to be worth it.
Takin’ Sides on Immigration
Blaska announced on Friday he is taking sides. He attempts to define "the other side", so lets take a peak. What side would you choose?
