Well, since I haven't taken the time to read the news, this is what I'm guessing is not in the news . . . either way, items of interest.

New rules for the use of surveillance cameras by city departments.

They are unwilling to give us an extension past February 17th and we . . . say it with me . . . HAVE NO LEGAL PLACE TO GO!!! Still, yet, again.

We've paid for three sites through tomorrow, but the county has given the campers a notice that they have to be out by noon today - they gave them the notice last night after 5:00. I have no idea what the campers will decide to do, we don't have transportation arranged for them with this short of notice and well, the county is just being mean.

The all republican capitol is sure to set the state back centuries . . . so I'm starting a new Capitol Watch feature to point out my outrage of the day. There will be many, I had to choose one for today. Should Wisconsin be the new Arizona when it comes to immigration policy?

Sorry I skipped last week - too busy. It's hard to feel bad tho when most of the agendas are either incomprehensible due to alphabet soup or jammed with reports and updates

Apropos of nothing, here are a couple of ideas that could make life better for the less well-off in Madison. It is by no means exhaustive, nor is it meant to be a list that solves all problems. Not everyone is going to like all of them, so it’s worth reminding folks that Brenda is not the only person who blogs here, so don’t go blaming her for these.

I really believe there is something in that east side water that doesn't belong there. Well, that's not fair, there were people there...

I hate it when I take a few days off from blogging . . . I never know how much to try to catch...
