All the news you can . . . I was going to say use . . . but I'm not sure some of it is all that useful. Here's what I've got.

A menagerie of local government and city of Madison things going on around town . . . this one was collected over the past week . . .

Do you register your cat, or dog?  Or bike for that matter?  Cat fees going up, "dog license tax" going up!  Fees and taxes going up, up, up as the city tries to stay under the state imposed levy limits.

Meetings on Tuesday and Thursday, and only 5 meetings total including county board and Exec meetings on Thursday.

Finally! The official word. These tenant/landlord laws changed December 21st - now here's the city attorney's interpretation. And they seem to have changed their mind on Section 8.

Sunny and 80 degrees today, a little different than yesterday. Today is Friday for me, I'm off to Sturgeon Bay for the Steel Bridge Music Festival tomorrow morning. Bringing my computer (and work) with me and intend to be on-line to keep blogging, but the schedule might be a little off. I'll be mostly hanging out at the Ladder House if you make it up that way.

County Budget scheduled for three nights, but it takes about an hour.  Jail presentation at Public Works and Transportation, Journey Mental Health Update at Health and Human Needs, fines for illegal stormwater discharge and more.
