I haven't seen anything so petty and disgusting and hearless since the days of Dave Cieslewicz

So, I send out one of these emails for the Affordable Housing Action Alliance and another person sent out the other from Occupy Madison/Activist...

Didn't get up early enough yesterday . . . but here's the rest of the week.

Three days of meetings as well, but none yesterday, so I procrastinated til today.

You know how I pick on the city from time to time about silly meeting faux pas . . . well, the county outdid them times 100! Check this out . . .

So, as homelessness is getting more attention, you hear the mayor say the city is spending $3M on services and the county handing out lists of the services available and non-profits are telling us that services are "readily available" but lets take a look at what is really going on.

Here's a start on it . . .oops, no, I finished!

The Homeless Issues Committee has had two meetings and voted on three different resolutions so far . . . and as expected, the Homeless Issues Committee is supportive of solutions for various homeless issues . . . for the most part. The interesting thing is the people on the committee that voted against the solutions.

The Tenant Resource Center really doesn't need any extra publicity this time of the year, we are slammed with calls and people stopping by, and this year its extra confusing with all the law changes, so we are open some extra hours. Here's some info for movers.

While the city tries to pass a panhandling ordinance and gets all grinchy about Hippie Christmas, the county tries to address basic needs of the homeless.

Seriously! When overly exuberant kids on campus do this crap its one thing you might overlook, when people who have been around politics for...
