I don't know that this exactly makes sense, but here it is . . . 2012 BUDGET – TENTATIVE SCHEDULE (REVISED)

Unless you show up and speak to something, of course, no guarantee they will talk about it, but it won't be passed in one big amendment and it will give them pause to think for a moment.

I wish I had more time to dig into this issue, but here's what I know . . .

Here's what the departments submitted to the mayor for the operating budget - what the Mayor chooses to do with it we won't officially know until the first Tuesday in October. And then we'll see if any of these budget community discussions has any impact on the requests.

Targeting most vulnerable with longest histories of homelessness, Vulnerability Index, Mayor prioritizing ending homelessness, Office of Homeless Policy, 10 year plan to end homelessness, Interagency Council on Homelessness and true partnerships!

All is revealed . . . kinda . . . sorta . . . 6 months late.

Of course, the results are no surprise given the staff dislike of the project. Do you even need to look at the results?

So, I was so pissed off about the Director of Planning and Community and Economic Development Director's comments, I forgot to do my daily update on having NO PLACE TO GO! This was briefly discussed at the council last night, I will get a full report on that tomorrow, but for now . . .

This kinda smells . . .
