So, Neil Heinen's editorials are not always hard hitting. Getting a board to have a definite agreed upon opinion on a subject without disagreement is probably not always easy, but they got it right on this one! And in the process, helped me make a point about nasty internet comments on other websites, like madison.com or thedailypage.com forum and how they should have a more responsible commenting policy.

On Tuesday's agenda there is a resolution honoring former Chief Mike Koval.  That resolution is now going to be "placed on file" - why?

Isthmus May Have Pulled the Blog Post, ALRC Applauds it.

It's common knowledge to the ALRC members that there are bar policies out there that discriminate against people of color. They applauded the blog statements and thanked Sconzie for writing his blog post, even tho the Isthmus pulled it.

3rd District might have a new alder between 2-6-19 and when the new council gets sworn in the 3rd Tuesday in April. I have a new question for all candidates I consider endorsing - will you serve you whole term? Imagine what would happen if the council moves to 4 year terms for alders!!!
