If you're keeping track, 2 more cancelled meetings makes 4 cancelled meetings and 4 added meetings this week. 8 changes in 3 days.

Last night a police officer suggested that one of the things that the alders could do to help with the issue of people with criminal intent (not homeless) hanging out at the top of State St. was to support a loitering ordinance made wanna do a Sue Bauman eye roll. Been here, done this. But it elicited an interesting set of comments on my facebook page.

Council will (or won't) oppose F-35s, possible gas-powered lawnmower rebate, Town of Madison inventory, re-booting the pest management committee and more.

I've spent quite a bit of the last month arranging interviews, reading questionnaires, interviewing over 20 candidates and arranging the General Membership meeting which I also chaired last night. It's was a lot of effort to get to this point . . . but it was worth it! Here's Progressive Dane's choices for the upcoming spring elections!

Sounds a bit familiar, but a bit of a twist. The mayor's capital budget does the typical "no new projects" but there is more talk of climate change, equity, planning, priorities and ranking and more narrative justifications.

Air National Guard base is major source of PFAs contamination. Um, not acceptable. Clean up needed.
