This is in response to the repeated calls from the Wisconsin State Journal for a smaller county board. As usual, the FACTS matter.

Mine are, finish the bike boulevard on E Mifflin and fix the bike issue with the one way traffic on the Ist block of E Mifflin off the square. What are yours?

Uh, yeah, we have major problems with affordable housing. I think this was a sobering meeting for the committee members. I don't think they realized the depth of the problem with affordable housing in Madison. And honestly, I think they have more to learn. Many thanks to staff from Salvation Army and YWCA for coming to speak to them.

At the end of the meeting, which only started 2 minutes late, someone called the Mayor 7:30 Soglin. Question is, will this short meeting trend continue? Or will the council find something to talk about?
