I started asking the staff who can't get their agendas to the clerk's office by noon on Friday . . . why?

Items the mayor is meeting about this week, Performance Excellence, Public Market, Complete count, public health, water utility finances, Freedom Inc, Benjamin Olneck-Brown, police and more  . . .

The Edgewater folks are paying attention. Are you?

They say there was 3.1 inches of snow, so they'll plow residential streets and declare a snow emergency . .. . is there any question about why this is confusing to people? Didn't have to move your cars that night, but yes for the next two nights if you live downtown. And yesterday they said they wouldn't plow the streets, today they are.

Well, more of a 31 page non-answer with a page and a half of recapping what they say happened and only half a page of non-answers.

There are 5 people who want to step up and serve in the role of alder for District 8 until there is an elections next spring.  Let's take a look!  Common Council Executive Committee will meet tonight to interview and make a recommendation (if they have quorum!).
