Public Workshops on Monona Terrace Station
The meetings are next week . . .
Feelin’ Better Round Up
I still feel a little crappy, but much, much better than Monday, and even better than yesterday, so I call that progress. Here's a quick round up of things that I found over the last few days.
Council Recap
Honoring resolutions, liquor licenses, committee appointments, Biolink TIF requirements removed and the City-County tax collection dispute with a goofy Pham-Remmele/Mayor exchange and [BK comments].
Explaining the Consent Agenda
Ever wonder what that funny motion is that the alders make that has a bunch of numbers in it and you can't follow along? Well, I'll try to explain using tonight as an example.
The City Week Ahead
Sorry, this is a day late, I felt AWFUL yesterday, still not feeling great today . . . sigh . . .
Thuy Pham-Remmele to Sheriff Mahoney
What in the world is this about? And why were others cc'd on this?
Metro Stroller Policy: Feedback wanted
Safety concerns with strollers? Do you care?
Central Library Public Input Meetings
Here's when you'll be able to give your input. There's 4 chances and they have said that the meetings are sequential so if...
More Business Recycling Please

Thursday Morning Round Up
Here's what I found of interest from that last 24 hours or so.
Back to Summer Round Up
Sunny and 80 degrees today, a little different than yesterday. Today is Friday for me, I'm off to Sturgeon Bay for the Steel Bridge Music Festival tomorrow morning. Bringing my computer (and work) with me and intend to be on-line to keep blogging, but the schedule might be a little off. I'll be mostly hanging out at the Ladder House if you make it up that way.
Concession in City/County Tax Collection Dispute
It seems like they might have a proposal to solve one tiny portion of the dispute, but we still don't know what tiny percentage of people will take advantage of this, there's still the foreclosure/delinquency issue that is not resolved and the question of if all the costs for new software, reprogramming and other staff headaches are going to be worth it.
