Yesterday, I was annoyed by the addition of 12 meetings to the weekly agenda, today, there are only three more. Including big news at the Overture and police department input. However, that is a record 15 meetings added. How are people supposed to participate in local government when notices of meetings go out 24 - 48 hours before the meetings start?

Yesterday, the City added a record 10 meetings to the weekly schedule, giving little functional notice to the public. Here's the meetings that were added and what might be of interest and you might want to change your plans for today or tomorrow.

I'm not complaining, its good for the plants.

This is annoying. There have been TEN, (nah make that TWELVE) additions to the weekly schedule this morning in 5 (now 7) hours.

It's a 3-day work week for me and I'm beginning to wonder how I'm going to get any work done in June with all the long weekends we have for music festivals and weddings, and Summerfest. Well, I know, I'm taking some work with me! Sigh . . . no worries, I keep up on the blogs, better than I've been doing lately.

Here's the items they want the public to know about . . . and then later this week other items will be added. I don't know why there isn't a rule that it has to be posted prior to Friday at noon, but it seems like there should be.

Apparently, there was an informational meeting for downtown neighbors at Gates of Heaven on the 24th, somehow, I missed that.
