The county answers my previously denied open records request, kinda, they gave me the information, but my request is still denied.

Haven't done these for a very, very long time.

Last November, 6 months ago, the state passed a law removing many of the tenant protections in Madison. In March, they passed another bill eliminating tenant rights and increasing landlord rights. With a 2% vacancy rate right now, its a housing crisis for people looking for housing, rents are increasing at alarming rates and the city is doing what?

The city is buying some technology upgrades for Madison Metro. We can come up with cool things it should do all day long, but if we don't think about how to write the RFP, it won't matter. What can we learn from other cities?

The other day I blogged about radical changes recommended by the City Task Force on Government Structure for future city councils (4 year terms, full time, reduce the council to half the size, term limits). At the time, they didn't have information available about the input at the two open houses for the public to look at. Lets see if the public input made any difference?
