Election Day Tuesday, but the Police and Fire Commission will be meeting anyways. Final Urban Forestry Report to be approved, Street Tree Removal on W. Dayton, Health Board discussing PFAS, 5 year Transportation Improvement Plan (i.e. road construction plans), ethics complaint against Mayor Soglin and more.

This one is heavy on city information, very little schools or Dane County . . . you'd hardly know there was a county board meeting last night by looking at the news and they don't have/use the same communications tools the city does, so there is just little information.

Eugene Oregon, a newer project, many years in the making. Of all the places we visited, we spent the most time here, we went to their weekly meeting.

Earlier this week the Homeless Issues Committee held a meeting designed to look at the homeless shelter system policies. This will be a three part series that reveals what happened.

Government officials and committee members are wondering how to get more people to participate in local government - based on my experiences yesterday, I can name a few.
