What happened to THE sand/salt mix?

So, I thought I should follow up since there were some errors on the clerk's website when I originally posted on the alder candidate...

Wow, I've been in the tenant/landlord business a long time and rarely, if ever, have I seen the state agency (DATCP = Department of Agriculture Trade and Consumer Protection) that is supposed to be dealing with tenant/landlord problems step up during the August 15th time period. That changed this year.

They may just plow and salt the main street . . . .

Absentee ballots are now available for the April 5 Spring Election.

I'm not really sure the drop in center was the right thing to do, but given the time constraints I didn't have a better answer, but here's my issues with the project.

So, as homelessness is getting more attention, you hear the mayor say the city is spending $3M on services and the county handing out lists of the services available and non-profits are telling us that services are "readily available" but lets take a look at what is really going on.

Thanks to Grace Episcopal Church for opening their doors, Karen Andro from First United Methodist Church for coordinating volunteers and Bethel Lutheran Church for helping staff the day. Z! (and board members) from Shine was there most of the day as well.

I've heard rumblings about the Boys and Girls Club role in the community for quite some time, so I wasn't surprised to see this email sent to many in the community. It's something to think about.

I haven't had time to read through it enough to form final opinions, but there is some interesting things to consider, here's my little run down.
