I was explaining this to new alders the other day. It made me realize just how complicated it actually is to find City of Madison agendas. I thought I should share so you can d.i.y.

New council and mayor get sworn in this week!

Late noticed City meetings and a random sampling of things I found to be of interest, hopefully you do too! West Wilson St. and E Johnson St. road reconstructions, watershed study public meetings, Bernie's coming to town (will you be able to find him?), jumping worms and more.

Lame Duck Week Edition. This is the last full week for 9 outgoing alders and the mayor. New elected officials sworn in on the 16th.

Madison Metro's latest bus route changes. Public hearing April 24 or submit written comments to mymetrobus@cityofmadison.com.

This is truly random and quickly done over a couple days . . . it's been a crazy week that included a trip to Atlanta, a death in the family and the elections . . . so, this is what I have!

Seems as tho my readers don't need this reminder . . . but it seems like every election day, someone tells me they almost forgot until . . . so just in case! Here's my choices, free rides, resources if you need more info plus election parties.

Election Day Tuesday, but the Police and Fire Commission will be meeting anyways. Final Urban Forestry Report to be approved, Street Tree Removal on W. Dayton, Health Board discussing PFAS, 5 year Transportation Improvement Plan (i.e. road construction plans), ethics complaint against Mayor Soglin and more.

Well, some of them. Includes questions of school board members.

It's a good job if you can get it! Tonight the Finance Committee is planning to fork over more money to George Austin for the Judge Doyle Square debacle. After that, the Finance Committee will go into closed session to talk about the legal troubles. Just how much money has George Austin been paid throughout this, uh, journey of what feels like forever?

Judge Doyle Square Legal issues (in closed session), Archipeligo Village (11 Story building on E Wash), PFAS committee, SSM Health building, Task Force on Structure of City Government to make recommendations, Housing Strategy committee actually meeting! and once again, no agenda for the Police Policy & Procedure Review Committee . . . and more.
