So, I recently did a training for TRC volunteers and the community and one of my new volunteers got really interested when we were talking about disparate impact and discrimination and wanted to know if these same rules and concepts applied to bars . . . here's why.

2 meetings today . . .

I took the day off and spent it with Occupy folks, and here's all the updates. Short story: County said they had to be out by noon. They didn't budge. Nothing happened. Homeless Services Consortium groups admit no one has rooms available for people who are homeless. Services simply don't exist.

Wednesday and Thursday look a little light, expect quite a few additions I suspect, the "weekly schedule" changes throughout the week and changes can be found here.

Here is what they think they will be discussing . . . and they will be throwing around millions of dollars for Union Corners, Monona Terrace, Water Utility, James Doyle Square etc . . . while hand wringing over $200,000 for non-profits for emergency projects, no cooling shelter (virtually free) this year an still no restrooms or lockers for the homeless. ($15,000)
