17 years. It doesn't feel so good to do something for 17 years and be kicked out on your butt without as much as a thank you - but instead a, "let's never do business again". So it goes when working with the county. Can't say I'm sad to have the relationship end. But our clients . . . and the people who need our help, well that crushes my soul.

Yesterday sucked.

Everything else on the agenda (see items of interest here) will be passed with the recommendation unless someone shows up to talk about it or its a public hearing or a council member pulls it off at the last minute.

So, intuitively, I kinda knew this. But it was still a bit shocking to hear the confession that the tenant-landlord law changes were made for political payback. What happened to policy makers making good policy?
