Staff did a rushed through presentation of this information, that the Economic Development Committee was first getting to see. They wouldn't hand out copies at the meeting. Joe Parisi: 2017 Budget Instructions

I didn't even read it yet, but you know, this year will be one of the toughest budget years ever . . . again. No one can anything to the budget, except when he does it for new awesome programs handpicked by him with no public process.

Maybe its not the Strategy, but the Attitude.

So, I posted about the strategy on downtown snow removal and the snow emergency zone (SEZ) and my unhappiness with it. I'm largely not affected, but annoyed as hell. People probably don't understand why, but its because of the attitude of staff about it and their unwillingness to do anything different. Here's a few examples of that attitude, and why I get so annoyed.
