Item 2 (Anesis Center funding for mental health case management and community programming for Southeast Asision elders and individuals with mental health needs) was referred to the next meeting, more time was spent getting the mayor a pen (he had his tire gauge instead) than anything else.

Yesterday was a Bad Day for Progress for the Homeless

Occupy got their eviction notice and the county board's Personnel and Finance Committee took the operating funds for the Homeless Day Center out of the budget. Always more work to be done and I knew the steps forward lately were just too good to be true. So, what's next for Occupy and the County Board?

It was unanimous, with the conservatives leading the way! Wiggy was phenomenal - meaning he really understands what is going on at Token Creek and articulated it well. Such a bizarro world.

City Community Development Priorities?

These priorities seem old, tired and recycled to me, and they don't seem to be working so well for us. Hearing on Thursday, but, as always actual public appearances are limited to 3 minutes and it seems, frowned upon. I'd suggest written comments which is what I will likely do. Please give your written input too!

Capital Budget Amendments 1 – 17

I'm not sure if anyone even cares about these. 2 people registered on the capital budget. Rosemary Lee against removing the philosopher stones and trees at the top of state and Anne Reynolds registered against cutting the cooperative funding.
