If you work til 5:00, you'll be able to attend 7 meetings in time for public comment. The other 21 meetings, not so much. And can anyone explain why two committees that meet on the environment meet at the same time on Monday? And three housing meetings meet at the same time on Thursday?

Nothing. The answer is as little as possible, despite us raising these issues for 4 years in a row now. Where did homeless people go during that last tornado? Where should they go?

If you go there, give you imput, its quick! The city rarely likes to do upgrades to this park despite its very high usage, let them know what you would like improved.

Apparently, our economy is good, relatively speaking. Tell that to the people sleeping on the streets.

Wow! This says something about our priorities and speaks directly to equity. Please, don't show up, the public is sooooo pesky! Over 150 meetings were scheduled after the city weekly meeting schedule comes out late Friday afternoon since the beginning of the year . . . why? Most of these meeting people had less than 72 hours notice before thy started. And the patterns show that most of the topics covered in these meetings have to do with poverty and equity issues.

There are 23 meetings on the weekly meeting schedule now, Monday morning there were only 15! 8 added meetings so far, a 53% increase in 48 hours or a 65% accuracy rating, a D or F if a teacher were grading the city.

I thought they did a study and they found this doesn't happen so much . . . . I call bullshit. This is absurd.

Budget season is upon us . . . they have 8 meetings that start at 5:30 or after so the traditional working public can attend. Of course, 10 aren't.

15 meetings, all start at 5:15 or before, so if you work until 5, unless you drive fast or work downtown, local government is not for you! And good luck figuring out what they will be talking about, there are very few links.
