I'm less optimistic after last week's performance of the so-called "weekly schedule", so instead of 80% I"m going with 70% and I'm hoping it doesn't dip into the 60's like it did last week.

Politically, that is. My alder, at the last minute and without consultations with anyone, wants to up-zone it tonight at the plan commission . . . which is making me think again what a disaster this situation is. It's definitely an only-in-Madison situation.
Moving Daze Extra Dazing this Year
The Tenant Resource Center really doesn't need any extra publicity this time of the year, we are slammed with calls and people stopping by, and this year its extra confusing with all the law changes, so we are open some extra hours. Here's some info for movers.
What Moron Made this Decision?
Downtown parking is going to be messed up for weeks now . . . a simple "request" to have people move their cars isn't going to work. This is absurd.

I was going to type "Yawn, do they do anything any more" about half way into the less than an hour meeting, but I salvaged a few points.

It'll probably help your finances a whole lot better than the tax bill item them Mayor has arguing with the county over, but its not in his budget. The council will get a briefing on it tomorrow, even tho its not on the weekly meeting schedule . . . yet . . .
Our Response to Snow Plowing Debate
I sat through quite a few meetings and took a lot of notes, but this is what it all boils down to. If you don't like their ideas, you can show up tomorrow (Wednesday) at 4:00 in Room LL110 in the Municipal (Post Office) Building (215 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd) to let them know. They send the notice of this meeting out late yesterday.
