Yay! Tho I suppose I shouldn't say anything because if I'm for it, that means others will be automatically against and be obstructionists for the sake of being obstructionists.

These things, and anything else the public shows up to talk about, maybe it will prompt them to say something.

26 meetings in this short week, 7 of them you can make it in time for the start if you work til 5:00 and drive fast!

Makes me cringe with all the bad news and changes for homeless folks right before a holiday weekend when they feel forgotten and left out. This one is a good change, but change is hard for anyone, and for some folks, change is extremely difficult. Leads to increased anxiety and instability. But, this is a good one! Just wish the official news wasn't coming out today

Yikes, theme this week is getting gruesome.

This supplements the handout I reported on yesterday. This is the briefing for the council (only David Ahrens and Anita Weier showed up, Lisa Subeck appeared at the end of the press conference) and the press conference that was held yesterday. (with BK comments)

Ok, following with the dead or dying theme this week, I'm glad to say this is a NOT DEAD, post. WYOU is very much alive and kickin' and celebrating it's 40th birthday!

Yes! The Mayor and the staff that worked on this plan get a HUGE thmubs up from me . . . let's see how the council and the community do?! Let's hope the predictions of the mayor that the council will say this is not enough are true!

So many projects dead or dying this week . . . this one comes with a good, but slightly ridiculous explanation, seriously, $120,000 in the capital budget? Methinks high jinks are afoot! Ah, budget games!

Important meeting rescheduled.

So frustrating . . . why can't the weekly meeting schedule have some chance of being correct and complete? 3 meetings added yesterday.
