Another snoozer, I guess nothing controversial is going on in Madison.

I'm seriously debating continuing doing this since it seems so misleading given the meetings they add throughout the week. Sorry I missed the 5 meetings yesterday.

How does this even happen? Three days before Rhythm & Booms a story erupts that no water or water bottles will be allowed at the event because they need to make money off of concessions sales. Exhibit A about what is wrong with to country and yes, even right here in good ol' liberal Madison.

If equity is supposed to mean increasing participation by low-income persons and people of color, this is NOT the way to do it, this week, neither was this, or this. 7 of the 28 meeting this week were announced after the alleged weekly calendar came out Friday afternoon, that's 25%!!! 5 of the 7 added meetings were held during the day when most working people cannot attend.

24 hours notice . . . sigh, informational meeting tonight. You have 10 days to get your written comments in to wendy.peich@wisconsin.gov.

From the equity report "One of the guiding principles of the RESJ Initiative is authentic, ongoing public engagement and participation." . . . if we want results, we could start here. Give the public adequate notice of meetings so they could participate if they wanted.
