Madison’s Historic Municipal Building: City Offices or “Bold”, “Creative” Private Venture (and other problems with the Judge Doyle Square project)

Tenant Resource Center is everywhere, the Occupy Madison "OM Build" Workshop moves to our new OM Village, and lots of great music as my worlds collide during moving weekend (August 15th!) in Madison.

Kyle drew a little attention with his post questioning the Mayor's role and promises with the protests on Monday. Blaska vowed to get to the bottom of it. I had already asked and got and answer from Soglin but not the police and shared that with Kyle, so Kyle made a clarification . . . but here's what Soglin said.

What are your thoughts on the union contracts approved by the County Board last Thursday?

Another short meeting . . . which I expected to be longer given the agenda.

I've been hearing rumblings, but yesterday at the Common Council Organizational Committee (CCOC) there was a proposal to reduce the number of committee members...

Meeting that aren't important enough to give you much more than 24 or 48 hours notice about . . . unless that's a strategy...

I found 6 meetings . . . I'm sure there are more . . .

You can call it being a spoiler if you want, but so far, the choices to challenge Walker are uninspiring.
