Here's their "consent" or really "non-consent" agenda. Everything else on the agenda will pass unless someone shows up to speak or an alder decides to pull something off the agenda.

I'm used to haters, my email is full of examples of it (mostly from when I was an elected official), but it irks the hell out of me when it gets directed towards other people and it professes such ignorance. Check out the latest flyer circulating in the East High area against the homeless who are looking for a place to live. Saturday's meeting could be interesting.

I thought there was something fishy, how could AFSCME endorse a guy that recommended automating the parking attendants and privatizing the Overture. Maybe...

I can't do it, not based on his policy of calling ICE and the impact that has on the community. Not to mention, he's not exactly good with transparency for an elected official. But who to vote for . . .

Brandi Grayson is an outspoken, Black female leader in a growing, community-based social justice movement in our city, and it’s making the white guys in charge unhappy. Recent concentrated attention by the Madison Police Department on Brandi has resulted in what Chief Koval calls “pure coincidence” when explaining why it seems she can’t turn around without finding a squad car in her front yard or a new surprise citation she didn’t know she’d earned. But any clear-eyed person can see; this is just plain legalized harassment.

Yeah, I've said it before, will say it again, the school board sucks when it comes to transparency. Half the time I can't figure out what is going on cuz I don't spend half my life following the school board and you shouldn't have to just to know what is going on. They have a meeting on Saturday that wasn't in the school board week ahead this week because they finally sent the notice out late Wednesday (50 hours in advance of the meeting) and there's the agenda tbd for the "department", another agenda, and the real agenda.

Seriously, the council hasn't patted you on the back enough so you're lashing out? Ya need more "atta-boys" to make it through the day? You say you're not going to be PC. Well, I'm not either. You're full of crap. We see through your political bullshit. The public/voters/taxpayers will too. You're losing the confidence of the public. And focusing on how the council hurt your feelings by not congratulating you to your liking is not the leadership we need from someone in your position right now. Deflecting from talking about what this report will actually do, isn't going to make it go away. Let's have a real conversation about those policies!

Oh, hey, did you know the council is meeting tonight?! Yeah, it wasn't in my Week Ahead, because they didn't notice it til 5:10 PM Monday night, just barely 48 hours notice. Meets the requirements of law, but its shameful for a local government that I thought once prided itself on transparency . . .

Interesting, aren't the conservatives usually the cop favorites, since they blindly fund whatever the department wants so they can "get tough on crime!". . . interesting times we live in.
