Looks like some good discussions coming up! Spring 2015 speakers series.

The Landmarks Commission has discussed this at 8 meetings already, and I missed most of them, so I went back through the minutes to see what I missed, here's my summary/highlights of the discussions they had in case you're also interested. They will be discussing this again tonight.

My attempt to not work 30 hours in 2 days failed, I worked 28 hours, so my blogging suffered as I took the weekend off . . . but here's what I have for the week ahead.

As far as I can tell, this is what is of interest . . . tho I get more and more uncertain as they add meetings throughout the week and don't put stuff in legistar.

Board of Estimates is being moved tonight to 201 . . . so if you were interested in the budget meeting, go across the street because . . . drum roll please . . .

6 meetings this week, 2 after 5:30, 3 before 10am. Ever feel like these meetings aren't really for the public?

Davin Pickell has been a busy man. He's filed ethics complaints against the Mayor Dave Cieslewicz, Mayor's Staff Paraino, Tom Carto, Dierdre Garton, Council President Mark Clear, Council Pro Tem Lauren Cnare and Council Office Staff Lisa Veldran. The Ethics Board hasn't seen this many complaints in at least 15 years, there's 15 of them!

No TV cameras, major Overture parties not here, just the alders, and its 10 after 5:00 - perhaps they are holding their own press conference elsewhere?

The Capitol Neighborhoods, Inc (CNI) Program Committee is hosting a Madison Mayoral Forum on January 20th at 7pm. John Nichols of the Capital Times...

Also short week, but also many meetings.
