Ah, more internal issues, here's who got appointed to what, and who got slighted or rewarded. Might not be so obvious to non-insiders, but who gets to be county board chair means who gets to make appointments to committees and there is usually a correlation between who you supported and if you get the committees you want.

16 of 23 or 70% of the meetings start at 5:00 or before . . . so f you get done with work at 5:00, you'll miss them entirely or be late.

Bus stops are finally closing on the Isthmus. After years of trying, it finally happened. Now if you don't like it, you should give input!

Oops, apparently not brief enough. And sorry I didn't finish this yesterday, it just never works out to blog at work even when I think I have the time and flexibility. Sadly, this was perhaps, the most interesting part of the evening with all the talk about chainsaws and evilness and the comparison to Cuba.

The Landmarks Commission has discussed this at 8 meetings already, and I missed most of them, so I went back through the minutes to see what I missed, here's my summary/highlights of the discussions they had in case you're also interested. They will be discussing this again tonight.
