Budget season is starting . . .

Monthly bus passes going up from $58.00 to $67.50. I can park in my local parking ramp for a month at night cheaper than that.

With this being a leap-year, and the great day fast approaching, I hereby declare February 29th as "Complain about alternative transportation day."   So how about...

Apparently, I spent 5.5 hours last night with someone who did. For months I have been trying to get the person help . . . but nothing has worked.

Well, I haven't really had time to read the news, so I'm presuming these are the types of things that don't get written about . . . see how I did . . .

Operating Budget on Council Agenda for comment, lots of meetings this week!

The Nolen Centennial Project is hosting an informational meeting on Saturday at 10am at the Alliant Energy Center. That got me thinking about bigger uses for the Nolen Causeway and Lakefront right now - possibly this July
