Thursday meetings have lots of missing agendas . . . tons of policing issues (recent shootings, Koval's fees, buying a Bearcat, final council committee report and recommendations for short term changes to policing policies, updates on EROs in the schools and I'm probably missing something, but nothing about the Top of State St.)

Last night, Alder Anite Weier and County Board Supervisor Melissa Sargent held an alleged listening session. Before the meeting I heard that they were preparing to make the Occupiers move, and half way through the meeting Chaous walks in with a laminated 4 page letter that was hung on a stake in the ground in the dark telling people to be out by noon today - not even 24 hours notice. After an hour and a half of the meeting, they dropped the bomb and then didn't answer any questions. Short story: we won't be moving. And we have no idea what they are going to do.

Can't wait til they add links to their agendas like the city does . . .

Ok - so that list of police calls in Part II was a little bogus and over-exaggerated, but there were some real issues in there. Yesterday, two gems of emails came out from the Mayor's office. Here's the latest on the Mayor's office campaign to rid themselves of the homeless in the building

...we can’t expect one generation to pick up the load for all these projects at the same time... Unfortunately, these projects are all coming to fruition at the same time... it’s up to us to figure out what are we going to do to continue...

Hmmm . . . they cancelled their county board meeting. Only 7 meetings this week.

Affordable Housing Action Alliance asked 8 questions to all the candidates and then did endorsement interviews in most of the races or will be doing them.
