That's preposterous! Tonight at 5:30 at the Water Utility the Police Policy and Review Committee will be discussing how they will spend the $50,000 the City Council gave them to aid them in their work. Funny thing about it is, they are still gathering information about their "work" and determining what it will be. How do they know this is how they want to spend that (relatively speaking) small amount of money?

Laundry and showers could be put in the Warming Center with relative ease and low cost. Fire safety issues also need to be addressed. And isn't the county embarrassed about the porta-potty location? I don't understand their bizarre resistance to making people's lives just the slightest little itty bit better. Instead, they do and say the goofiest of things.

Finally! The official word. These tenant/landlord laws changed December 21st - now here's the city attorney's interpretation. And they seem to have changed their mind on Section 8.
